Jagat Niwas Palace is perfectly situated in the heart of the old city adjoining to the City Palace and behind the famous Jagdish temple.
The haveli which is in two parts and originally named as Titoda and Banderwara Haveli, was built around 17th century, the same period when the Badi Mahal in the City Palace was made.
Both the havelis were in a depliated condition and in 1987, Kr. Devraj Singh took the challenge of renovating the havelis and converting them in a hotel.
